Colorado's Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Division is conducting rulemaking as we build a system that works for both employers and workers. Important Updates
State Average Weekly Wage Update: Effective July 1, 2023, At 12:01 a.m., the state average weekly wage for the purposes of FAMLI benefits will be $1,421.16.
MAXIMUM BENEFIT: Pursuant to §8-13.3-506(1)(b), the maximum weekly benefit will remain $1,100.
WEEKLY BENEFITS: Pursuant to §8-13.3-506(1)(a), benefits for covered individuals shall be paid as follows:
- Average weekly wage less than or equal to $710.58 shall be replaced at a rate of 90%.
- Average weekly wage above $710.58 shall be replaced at a rate of 50%, up to the maximum benefit.
