How much will my benefit payment be?

Benefits are calculated on a sliding scale using the individual's average weekly wage from the previous five calendar quarters in relation to the average weekly wage for the state of Colorado and may increase over time.

The Colorado average weekly wage for 2025-2026 is $1,534.94. This means that the first $735.67 of an individual’s average weekly wage will be replaced at a rate of 90%, and the rest will be replaced at 50%, up to the maximum benefit amount of $1,381.45. These figures may be updated by mid-2026 and in future years, as Colorado’s average weekly wage changes.
